Dinner and The Dead

Join us at Foster's Restaurant in early February for an evening of good food, music and the magic of James Joyce's THE DEAD as abridged by Dan DiPietro, reimagined by Fred Stroppel and sponsored by The Civic Association. 

Often cited as the best work of short fiction ever written, Joyce's story details a holiday gathering in Dublin that is so evocative and beautiful it prompts the protagonist's wife to make a shocking revelatin to her husband- closing the story with an emotionally powerful epiphany.
